CLUB OVERVIEW

Phoenix Athletics Sports Club (PASC) is one of Nigeria’s foremost grassroots football academies, dedicated to identifying, training, mentoring, and empowering youth between the ages of 14 and 18. Founded as a community-based development initiative, PASC has evolved into a respected launchpad for aspiring professional footballers and future national team prospects.

The club was originally established as Fountain Youth Sports Club (FYSC) in Ado-Ekiti by visionary sports developer Mr. Bayo Olanlege. As its scope and ambition grew, the club was rebranded to Phoenix Athletics Sports Club (PASC), a name that reflects its renewed commitment to innovation, professionalism, and holistic youth development.

Today, PASC operates under the banner of Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited, leveraging structured management systems, seasoned technical teams, and proven player development frameworks to nurture talent and drive sustainable impact in Nigerian football.

Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited is officially founded in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria with a bold mission to reignite sports development through youth training, community engagement, and modern management.

Launching the Movement

Phoenix Athletics Sports Club (PASC) becomes the flagship grassroots football academy under the company. Trials and development programs kick off across Ekiti and neighboring states.

Competitive Rise

PASC debuts in the Bet9ja Ekiti Football League and Nationwide League One, establishing itself as a serious player in youth football.

Players begin receiving regional and national recognition.

Academic Expansion

Phoenix integrates formal academic support offering computer training, scholarships, and partnerships with schools to foster total athlete development.

Reaching New Heights

Several players sign international contracts in Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.

The club expands visibility, hosts community tournaments, and begins laying the groundwork for a Girls’ Division (coming 2027).
